"Making dreams into reality"
A teacher by day, Malkie Benson understands the value of open, simple communication and listening. She knows that the right tone and the right reassuring word can make all the difference to a new family buying a home in preparation for baby number three, or to a widower selling their family home of 20 years. She knows that listening to the customer's needs ensures long-term happiness and a beneficial agent-client relationship.
Her career experience - travel agent (where she learned the art of the deal), teacher, and now real estate agent - is all fueled by a desire to connect and communicate: "Everyone has a story, and each one fascinates me. It's the people I meet that I would otherwise not have known, and the life stories they share with me, that's what I love."
What was Malkie's inspiration for becoming an agent? A chance to do good. "Moving is high on the list of stressful things to do. When I'm able to ease that stress and burden for my clients and help them buy or sell something as important as their home, it feels great."
Malkie Benson earned her education certifications at Concordia University and through her studies in Israel. Malkie is on the board of the Shaarei Orah synagogue and the Yeshiva Noam Parents' Association. A Montreal native, Malkie is a fan of Celine Dion and the Canadians hockey team. She currently resides in Teaneck with her husband of 15 years and three children.
