Broker Associate
Marc Stein is an entrepreneur, innovator, and the CEO and Team Leader of Links Residential brokered by eXp. Marc’s extensive knowledge of the real estate industry and experience in marketing at the highest level has inspired him to create a new type of full-service real estate brokerage that focuses on professional marketing and personal branding for agents to support them and help them achieve the highest levels of success as Links professionals.

Marc grew up in Highland Park, New Jersey. From his years in high school, Marc expressed and grew his entrepreneurial spirit through working with many business startups. His passion for crafting new ideas and processes has shaped his career working with start-up companies and sales professionals for over 25 years. His strategic thinking and planning has helped many companies navigate through the start-up phase and grow the company through marketing and branding as well as working on mergers and acquisitions.

Marc graduated from CUNY Baruch College with a degree in marketing management with a specialization in advertising and media, and a minor in industrial and organizational psychology. In 2001, while still in college Marc got his real estate license as a backup plan to work as a marketing consultant. After selling a start-up company and 3 years into his real estate career, Marc found his passion for working in the real estate business. With residential and commercial sales under his belt, he used his commissions to start investing in multi-family houses and then got into development throughout New Jersey.

Marc started his career at Russo Real Estate, a family-owned business that taught him to do good for others and good will happen. This mindset has stuck with him throughout his career. In 2007 he went on to manage Village Homes Realty where he built a team and developed his playbook for marketing and branding in real estate.

With his sales and marketing experience along with over 600 personal transactions completed, Marc decided to open Links Residential in 2013. His focus was on building an agency that would serve the needs of agents to help them build and grow their businesses. Marc’s focus is truly on helping real estate agents achieve greater success and be able to collaborate in an environment with incredible support for their strategies and creativity. Marc’s background has provided him with the exceptional insights and skills necessary to create a successful vision for Links.

Marc’s knowledge and experiences has helped him become an expert on pricing, negotiation, and innovative marketing strategies, which he shares with his agents, as well as talking professionally across the country.

Marc believes that while we may all be competitors, we are all co-workers working in the same industry. He always wants to see people succeed in both their careers and personal lives. In 2016, Marc started training agents and speaking professionally across the country with a focus on branding, marketing, and the keys to being a successful salesperson in the world today.

Marc currently is the CEO and Team Leader at Links Residential brokered by eXp and manages and inspires agents from all over the world, while encompassing all aspects of the industry including Residential, Commercial and Property Management. Marc has sat on many boards and committees to help ensure the future success of all REALTOR in the real estate business. Marc currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Greater Bergen Association of Realtors® and on the Executive Board of the New Jersey MLS.
